Feeling Sleepy – First Day Hangovers

To people who sadly see only the negative aspects of my blog, nope, I am not complaining (again!) at all. I’m just feeling tired because it’s the first work day of the week and the month and the change of shift – plus we had to work on the files from the other project.

Getting off from work should fill me with happiness but I had no more energy to be happy. Starting today, The Company had lowered the standard for speed but we were not informed as to what the new target will be – I am crossing my fingers that it will be at 20 manuscript pages per hour ๐Ÿ˜€ Still, every work code will count to our speed for the day or month. That means that files which we normally don’t give our best foot forward in terms of speed have to be worked on as fast as we possibly could. These files include those of the other projects, those from higher stages (S200 as they call it), and just about any task that has a work code.

However, for the first time since I’ve started complaining about my job, it now makes some sense ๐Ÿ˜€ The proverbial carrot became a real carrot – or so it seems, according to our meeting with Madam C.

What are the new incentives? I guess they are too “company matters” to share in a blog {sigh} but they really make me want to work with good effort now. ๐Ÿ˜€ Let’s just say that with the new scheme of incentives there is a great possibility that a lot of us will receive those carrots but I don’t want to dwell on those yet because, as per Madam C, the final figure had not been set yet. Besides, I was still looking forward to my resignation at the end of the year tee-hee-hee ๐Ÿ˜€ no matter how delicious the carrots will get, don’t tempt me, please LOL

And I’ll pass it in a colorful envelope – not a boring, white one ๐Ÿ˜€
