The Writer

I am a lowly worker at The Company – stuck in the mundane task of making people’s work look better for the clients. Although considered as the among the “cream of the crop” at The Company, I long to be free from the invisible shackles that hold me in place. A lot of my friends have already escaped The Company for one reason or another. When’s my turn? Time will tell.

Don’t judge my blog by its URL – you are not a judge! LOL However, you are free to scrutinize every piece and entry that appeals to your interest – comment, if you want to.

As of July 8, 2009:

The Writer is almost free of the shackles at The Company. I’m quitting so as 1) not to sound a hypocrite, and 2) to get my life back.

Sample Resignation Letter:

Dear Sir/Madam Department Manager:

Good day!

The job at The Company had been rewarding and challenging at first but I realized that there’s more to life than rewards and challenges. There is this thing called “Life”.

Well, it was great working with and for you but I have to go.

See ya at the beach!

Funfully,

Lowly Employee
